9th Ave. N. - Pinkie Rd.
Due to provincial safety requirements, certain movements will be permanently changed at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and Pinkie Road as a result of the Regina Bypass, including:
- No left turns from north, south and eastbound traffic
- No north/south movement on Pinkie Road through the intersection
- Left turns will only be permitted from westbound traffic to access Pinkie Road southbound
To prepare for these permanent changes, work will begin at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4 at 9th Avenue North and Pinkie Road. Drivers should consider alternate routes as this intersection will be closed to traffic. Traffic will be detoured using Fairway Road and Sherwood Drive. Watch for signs.
This work is expected to be complete in six weeks, depending on weather or unforeseen circumstances.
These permanent changes are being made to help ensure driver safety once the Regina Bypass is open to traffic in October. To see how this connects to the Regina Bypass, visit their website at Reginabypass.ca.
The City of Regina thanks residents for their understanding and patience while this important infrastructure work is being completed. Slow down, plan ahead and be safe. Workers and their families are relying on you.
