Twinning Dewdney Avenue increases safety and allows better traffic flow to Westerra, the west Regina Bypass and the Global Transportation Hub. By installing raised landscaped medians, new street lighting, and dedicated left-turn bays at existing intersections along this roadway, safety of drivers has been enhanced.
Improvements were also be made at the intersections along Dewdney Avenue at Courtney Street, West Market Street, Horizon’s Way and Pinkie Road.

Timeline
This project began in June and is expected to be complete in December, pending weather or unforeseen circumstances. Some work will continue in the spring of 2021, such as landscaping and minor concrete.
