25th Avenue Sewer Relining
The City of Regina is investing $1.7 million on a major sewer relining project this summer along 25th Avenue between Lake Street and Athol Street. Crews will reline an existing sewer trunk that provides service to over 10,000 households.
To reduce disruption to residents, ramps will be installed to allow traffic to drive over the bypass hoses for north/south traffic. Speed reductions will be in place.
Work will be completed in two sections. The first section will take place from Lake Street to Albert Street starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 5, and is anticipated to be complete in three weeks, pending weather and unforeseen circumstances.
Once the first section is complete, crews will proceed to the second section from Proctor Place to Athol Street. This is anticipated to be complete by early September, pending weather or unforeseen circumstances.
