Consider a Lasting Gift

Leave a lasting legacy of a loved one by donating a tree, bench or plaque in a cemetery of your choice.Group of elm trees in a park

Your gift is a perfect way to:

  • provide a quiet place for reflection
  • beautify and enhance Regina’s cemeteries
  • provide a place for family and friends to commemorate a birthday, anniversary or special event involving your loved one

All donations except plaques are tax deductible. Temporary receipts are issued at the time of purchase and official receipts are issued each January. This program is subject to the terms and conditions of the program. The City reserves the right to determine final placement.

Submit the Legacy Program Application Form to cemeteries@regina.ca. Payment is not required until the location has been determined by cemetery staff. Use the City of Regina’s Contact Us online form to confirm prices or to arrange for your gift donation.

Trees are available for planting in approved cemetery tree groves or along approved paths and boulevards. You may also memorialize an existing tree. Your tree will be planted between May and October.

Six-foot and four-foot benches are currently available. This program is subject to the terms and conditions of the program. Discuss with Cemetery staff the best location for your donated bench.

Commemorate a loved one with a bronze plaque on one of our Plaque Memory Walls, either at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery (Prairie Plaza or Prairie View) or Regina Cemetery (Prairie Rose).
