Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre

Whether you are looking for swimming lessons, a leisure swim or workout, there is something for everyone at the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre. The facility is also home to Regina Public Library's Sunrise branch, spray pad, and accessible playground.

    Facility Features

    • Main pool ranging in depth from .45 to 3 metres
    • Pool features include a slide, frog slide, umbrella rain tree and 1-metre diving board
    • Accessible overhead sling lift on pool deck
    • Large warm tot pool with spray bar, tot slide & spraying rubber rock
    • Large whirlpool
    • Dry sauna
    • Activity room
    • Strength & conditioning area with 15 cardio machines including treadmills, elliptical trainers, recumbent bikes, stair masters & rowers, 10 strength training machines for every major muscle group and flexibility and core strength training areas
    • Accessible family changeroom with overhead lift and plinth
    • All gender/family changeroom with overhead lift and plinth
    • Accessible washroom in the lobby area
    • Changerooms with accessible washroom stall
    • Accessible parking stalls
    • Accessible entrance on West side of the building

    Attendant Admission Program

    City of Regina programs are open to everyone, including those experiencing disability. If you require an attendant to help you during your program or activity, the Attendant Admission Program allows an attendant to accompany you at no extra cost.

    Please inform City staff of any accommodations you may need to participate in a recreation or sporting program when you are registering.
