2026 Ladybug Release Event
9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Victoria Park
This is a free event.
Join the City of Regina for a morning of family-friendly fun at the annual Ladybug Release in Victoria Park.
More than 200,000 ladybugs will be available for residents, families and children to release as part of the City of Regina's commitment to organic and sustainable pest control. Attendees can learn about ladybugs and discover how these tiny insects help support a healthy environment by controlling aphids that can damage trees and plants.
Participants can release ladybugs in Victoria Park or take them home to release in their own yards or nearby parks.
The event will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, including face painting, interactive games, giveaways and educational booths. Ladybugs and treats will be distributed while quantities last. Daycares, preschools and summer camps are encouraged to attend.
Free Transit for Daycares and Preschools
Daycares, preschools and their chaperones can ride Regina Transit free of charge to attend the event. Simply tell the driver you are heading to Victoria Park for the Ladybug Release. Visit TransitLive.com or call 306-777-RIDE (7433) for transit routes and schedules.
