We are asking residents to do their part to make our roads and streets safe. If you are not using your vehicle, please park on driveways or in garages.
On October 1, the City of Regina is resuming parking enforcement on vehicles that stay parked on City roads and streets for longer than 24 hours. We understand the new realities of COVID-19 and are using discretion when enforcing. When residents contact us about concerns we are attending to the location.
As a reminder, effective November 1, recreational vehicles, such as licensed and unlicensed motor homes, travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers and boats, are prohibited from parking anywhere in the front yard, including driveways and legal front yard parking stalls.
Parking regulations are in effect 24 hours a day and parking meters are in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Parking is free at meters after 6 p.m. on weekdays, all-day Saturdays (subject to two hour limit), Sundays and all statutory holidays. Parking meter rates are $2/hour with the exception of loading zone parking metres which are $1/15 minutes.
There are fines in place for individuals and/or corporations who do not comply to the regulations within the Traffic Bylaw. Fines can reach up to $5,000.
