City of Regina announces I Love Regina Pats Game
On Sunday, November 1, the City of Regina will host the second annual I Love Regina Pats Game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the Brandt Centre.
"This special Pats Game is a celebration of everything that makes Regina such a great place to call home,” said Mayor Chad Bachynski. "Whether you're a lifelong Pats fan or attending your first game, this is a fun experience for the whole family. We're excited to welcome residents from across the city to cheer loud for our home team, enjoy the festivities and celebrate what it means to love Regina."
All tickets are available for $13 plus taxes and fees, making the event one of the most affordable of the season.
“The Pats have been part of Regina for generations, and this game is a chance to celebrate the city and the people who make it special,” said Regina Pats CEO Gordon Pritchard. “We’re proud to partner with the City of Regina to make it easy for families to spend a day together at the Brandt Centre, cheer on the Pats and support Growing Young Movers. We can’t wait to welcome everyone on November 1.”
Residents can get into the spirit with a free pre-game party at 12 p.m. featuring face painting, bouncy castles, a fire truck and other City vehicles and machinery. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase I Love Regina merchandise during the game. Proceeds from the merchandise sales will support Growing Young Movers, helping extend the event's impact beyond game day and support positive outcomes for Regina youth and their efforts with revitalizing Parkdale Park.
The puck drops at 2 p.m. Every attendee will receive a free co-branded I Love Regina and Regina Pats merchandise item.
Following the game, all ticket holders are invited to the ice for a post-game public skate, along with Pats Players. Please bring your own skates, as rentals will not be available, and a helmet is mandatory for 15 years and younger to access the ice.
