Certified Personal Trainers: Certification from a recognized organization such as NASM, Canfitpro,
CSEP or equivalent. Current Intermediate/Standard First Aid and CPR (Level A or C). Certification
through Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance or Lifesaving Society is preferred. Specialized
certifications such as pre- and post-natal training are an asset Other skills: Training and
experience working with participants of all ages and abilities. The ability to lead and adapt
programs for inclusive populations. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ready to apply?
LiveWell Instructors: Certified Personal Trainer, CSEP-CEP (Certified Exercise Physiologists) is an
asset Degree in Kinesiology or enrolled in a Kinesiology program preferred Current
Intermediate/Standard First Aid and CPR (Level A or C). Certification through Canadian Red Cross,
St. John Ambulance or Lifesaving Society is preferred. Other skills: Training and experience
working with participants of all ages and abilities. The ability to lead and adapt programs for
inclusive populations. Strong communication and leadership skills Ready to apply? Sport
Instructors: Relevant training, experience or certification in their area of instruction. National
Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is considered an asset. Current Intermediate/Standard First
Aid and CPR (Level A or C) is required. Certification through Canadian Red Cross, St. John
Ambulance or Lifesaving Society is preferred. Other skills: Knowledge of sport-specific rules and
fundamentals. Experience coaching or instructing individuals or groups. Training and experience
working with participants of all ages and abilities. The ability to lead and adapt programs for
inclusive populations. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ready to apply? Adapted Fitness
and Recreation Instructor: Adapted recreation instructors have specialized training and
qualifications such as: Knowledge of inclusive and adaptive programming. Certification in adaptive
sport, therapeutic recreation or specialized fitness. Neurological or chronic condition management
