Eastview Park (945 Broder Street) Upgrades

The Queen City Eastview Community Association (QCECA), in partnership with the City of Regina, is undertaking upgrades to Eastview Park (945 Broder Street). The work will be completed in phases.

Phase 1: Playground Upgrades

Construction is scheduled to begin on September 7, 2026. The upgrades will include a new accessible playground complete with a poured-in-place rubber safety surface. While construction is expected to be completed by September 22, 2026 (weather permitting), the playground will remain closed to the public until October 25, 2026, to allow the rubber surface sufficient time to cure.

Park users are asked to use caution when visiting the park and to remain outside the fenced construction area.

Phase 2: Pathway and Basketball Court Upgrades

This phase is scheduled for spring 2027. The work will include resurfacing the pathway connecting the sidewalk to the playground, replacing the existing crusher dust pathway with asphalt to improve accessibility. Upgrades to the basketball court are also planned as part of this phase.
