
What is the Winter City Stamp Rally?
The Winter City Stamp Rally is an interactive, location-based game that turns winter fun activities into a chance to win prizes! Participants visit designated locations, collect unique stamps and earn points along the way — the more spots you visit, the better your chances.
Inspired by our Friendship City in Fujioka, Japan, stamp rallies are a fun way to explore and discover new places.
How to Play
Explore the city, enjoy seasonal activities and collect stamps along the way. There are two ways to play:
Online (Mobile Device Required)
- Use a smartphone or tablet with GPS and internet access.
- Register, view the map and check in at locations to collect stamps and earn points.
Step 1: Register and Get Started
- Launch the Winter City Stamp Rally game on your mobile device, read the rules and create a nickname to begin.
Step 2: Explore and Participate
- Open the location screen to see a map and a list of winter activities across the city.
- Visit each location and take part in featured activities such as skating, playing crokicurl, gliding across an outdoor skating rink or warming up by a community fire pit.

Step 3: Collect Stamps and Earn Points
- Use your mobile device to check in at each location and collect stamps.
- Each stamp earns you points toward exciting prizes.
Step 4: Keep Playing for Prizes
- Keep exploring and discovering our Winter City! The more activities you enjoy, the more stamps and points you collect.
- Rack up enough points to unlock exciting prizes and enter for a chance to win our grand prize!
Offline (Game Sheet Required)
No mobile device? No problem! You can still join the Winter City Stamp Rally and win prizes using our offline game sheet.
Step 1: Download and Print Your Game Sheet
- Download the Winter City Stamp Rally Game Sheet and print out your game sheets. (Coming Soon!)
Step 2: Explore and Record Your Visits
- Visit participating winter activity locations across Regina.
- At each location, write a short statement about your experience on the game sheet (e.g., “Skated at Victoria Park rink” or “Enjoyed the fire pit at Pat Fiacco Plaza”).
- Each completed location earns you the same points as the online version.
Step 3: Track Your Points
- Use the scoring section on your game sheet to keep track of your points.
- When you reach 100 points, you qualify for the Winter City Bundle Prize. But don't wait too long, this prize is only available to the first 200 people who claim it.
- When you reach 150 points, you earn a ballot entry into the Grand Prize Draw! You must complete your entry ballot before the end of the game on March 15, 2026.
Step 4: Submit Your Game Sheet to Claim Prizes
- Email your completed sheet to WinterFun@Regina.ca or
- Bring it to the City Hall Visitor Information Desk during business hours.
Step 5: Claim Your Prize
- The first 200 players to reach 100 points and visit City Hall will receive the Winter City Bundle prize.
- Earn 150 points to receive a ballot for the Grand Prize Draw. Visit City Hall to submit your entry.

Be amongst the first 200 players to reach 100 points and visit City Hall to claim this prize. You will receive:

The Winter City Experience Grand Prize
Keep playing! Every player who reaches 150 points will receive an entry into the Grand Prize draw!
The Grand Prize Draw will take place on or after March 16, 2026. All entries must be received by March 15, 2026, at 4 p.m. to be considered.

Do I need a mobile device to play?
- While the game is designed for mobile devices with GPS and internet access, we offer an offline option for those without a smartphone or data.
How does the offline version work?
- Download and print the Winter City Stamp Rally Game Sheet from Regina.ca/StampRally. Record your visits and experiences at participating locations. Submit your completed sheet by email or at City Hall to claim prizes.
How does the online version work?
- Start by scanning the QR code or visiting Regina.ca/StampRally to register. Open the game on your mobile device, read the rules and create a nickname to start. Use the map in the game to find participating locations and check in at each one with your mobile device to collect stamps and earn points. When you have earned enough points for a prize, a ‘Prize’ task will appear on your list.
How do I claim prizes?
- Online players: When you earn enough points, a “Prize” task will appear in the app with instructions. Open this "Prize" task for instructions on claiming your prize. All prizes can be claimed at Regina City Hall at the Visitor Information Desk during business hours. You will need to show your mobile device with the game to claim your prize.
- Offline players: Submit your completed game sheet by email to WinterFun@Regina.ca or bring it in person to Regina City Hall at the Visitor Information Desk during business hours. Once verified, you’ll receive your prize or entry into the Grand Prize Draw.
Who can I contact if I’m having trouble registering or getting back into the game?
- Please email WinterFun@Regina.ca for help with the Winter City Stamp Rally Game.
Does it cost anything to play?
- No, participation in the Winter City Stamp Rally is free.
Do I need to complete all activities to win a prize?
- No, you don’t need to complete every activity. Once you earn 100 points, you can claim a prize – but only if you’re among the first 200 people to reach this milestone and visit City Hall. When you reach 150 points, you will earn an entry ballot into the Grand Prize Draw. Complete the ballot to be entered into the draw.
Can I play with friends or family?
- Yes, each player needs their own device and account, but you can visit locations and enjoy activities together.
What happens if I lose my internet connection?
- You’ll need an active connection to collect stamps. If you lose connection, reconnect and refresh the game to continue. Don’t worry, your points won’t be lost because of an internet disconnect.
Is there a deadline to play or claim prizes?
- Yes, the Winter City Stamp Rally runs from December 12, 2025, to March 15, 2026. Make sure to collect your stamps and claim prizes before the game ends.
Can I play if I’m not from Regina?
- Absolutely, visitors to Regina are welcome to join the fun and win! Remember, you must visit City Hall to claim prizes.
What if a location is closed or an activity is unavailable?
- Check the game map or Regina.ca/WinterCity for updates about our winter activities. Some activities may be weather-dependent.
