Residential Business Licence Application

The City issues resident business licences to businesses that operate from a premise, located on property in the City that is not assessed and taxed as commercial or industrial property.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be considered exempt from the requirement to pay for a resident business licence you must either:

provide written confirmation from the Canada Revenue Agency that the total gross revenue for the business in the preceding tax year was less than $5000.00; or
provide satisfactory proof that the total gross revenue for the business in the preceding tax year was less than $5000.00. Proof may be a Notice of Assessment for the previous tax year. Copies of this document will not be retained on file.
