Be a Voice for Your Community
Apply to Join a Board or Committee
The City of Regina is looking for individuals who are passionate about their community and want to share their diverse background and expertise as a member of a Council-appointed board or committee.
Boards and committees provide advice and guidance on a variety of issues and topics to help City Council make informed decisions. Volunteer members bring important experience, skills and perspective to the table. Some committees require specific areas of knowledge, but others simply require committed community members.
As our community becomes more diverse, it is important that board and committee members reflect this diversity to ensure an inclusive approach, contributing to good governance and decision making. We are looking for residents who demonstrate leadership, energy and commitment. We welcome applicants identifying as Indigenous and Métis, as well as other underrepresented groups and people of all abilities.
Members are recruited through an inclusive, transparent and unbiased process. To be eligible to apply, you must be:
- 18 years of age or older,
- a Canadian citizen, and
- a full-time resident of Regina.
Boards, committees and commissions have various time commitment levels, with some requiring as little as two hours per month, and others as many as 10 hours or more per month, depending on workload.
The deadline to submit your application to volunteer is September 19, 2023.
