City of Regina Introduces New Merchandise
The City of Regina launched five new merchandise collections that celebrate Regina’s authentic character.
“From the City skyline to the Warehouse District and Regina-style pizza, Regina offers so much that is uniquely ours,” said Jennifer Johnson, Deputy City Manager Communications, Service Regina and Tourism. “These collections tell the story of our community and celebrate the places, the traditions and even the flavours that make it special.”
The collections include a Classic line, featuring the iconic I Love Regina logo, a Signature line that celebrates Regina’s skyline, a Heritage line that embraces nostalgia by featuring historical landmarks, a Tourism Regina collection that highlights the attractions that make Regina a unique destination, and finally a feature-edition design that honours the iconic, authentic Regina-style pizza.
“The tourism kiosk is an amazing welcome to Regina for travellers arriving at the airport, offering an immediate sense of the city’s warmth, creativity and pride of place. We love that it showcases authentic local merchandise that reflects Regina’s character and gives visitors a meaningful way to take a piece of our community with them,” said James Bogusz, President and CEO at Regina Airport Authority.
The merchandise will include T-shirts, hats, water bottles, pins, stickers, a puzzle and more. It will be available for purchase at the Regina International Airport and City Hall visitor information kiosks. Some items are available for purchase online at ILoveReginaGear.ca. Merchandise is available in limited quantities while supplies last.
The new collections are catalysts for storytelling. They will connect residents and visitors to the places and attractions that define Regina.
