Convenient Ways to Pay Your Property Taxes
The 2023 property tax deadline is Friday, June 30, and the City of Regina offers many ways to make paying as convenient as possible.
- Through your bank online, in person, or using telebanking.
- In person at City Hall, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. In-person payments can be made by cash, cheque or debit.
- Drive through using the tax kiosk located on Smith Street next to City Hall. The drive through will be open June 28, 29 and 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The kiosk only accepts cheques and the tax bill must be included. Hint: Have cheques prepared before arriving at the kiosk.
Property owners may want to consider signing up for the City’s Tax Installment Payment Plan Service (TIPPS) which allows you to pay property taxes over 12 smaller monthly payments. This hassle-free plan has no fees or interest charges and helps property owners avoid late payment penalties.
Payments received or dated after June 30, 2023, are subject to a monthly penalty.
Property tax notices were mailed on May 26 and homeowners can contact the City if they were lost or not received. Property owners can access their property assessment and tax information anywhere, anytime, as well as opt in for paperless tax notices through Regina.ca/eproperty.
