FROST Regina Announces Partnership with Skip
FROST Regina is excited to announce a new partnership with Skip, Canada’s homegrown delivery network, that will include Skip pop ups Downtown during the final two FROST weekends.
FROST Regina continues to grow as a premier winter festival with the support of local and national sponsors, and through new partnerships, interactive activities and unique amenities.
“We’re thrilled to partner with FROST Regina to help folks embrace the final weeks of winter,” said Amy Gaertner, Director of Brand and Promotions at Skip. “At Skip, we’re always looking for ways to help Canadians Skip to the good part and popping up at FROST with the Heat Up Hub is the perfect way to do that.”
From February 13 to 16 and February 20 to 22, Skip will be hosting an outdoor warming zone in the northwest corner of Victoria Park with heaters, firepits, seating and blankets. At the heart of the space will be a geodesic dome where Skip will be handing out free apple cider from fix. Coffee, a local shop downtown. There will be an opportunity to purchase $10 Skip gift cards and receive a gift bag valued at $40.
“We love that Skip sees the value in supporting events in their home province,” said Jennifer Johnson, Deputy City Manager, Communications, Service Regina & Tourism. “Partnerships like this allow us to continue enhancing FROST Regina and activating our downtown in new and engaging ways.”
FROST Regina is made possible with the support of valued local and community partners, including Skip, Pattison Outdoor, Rawlco, Harvard Media, Casino Regina and SaskEnergy.
