Outdoor Pools Open Starting June 9

Outdoor pools are opening for the season. Wascana Pool will open on June 9. Buffalo Meadows, Maple Leaf, Massey and Regent pools will open on June 11. All outdoor pool openings may change to respond to weather conditions.

“Outdoor pools have something for everyone – swimming lessons, leisure swims and dedicated swim times for preschoolers, teens and families,” said Diana Burton, Director of Recreation & Cultural Services.

Returning this summer are popular pool programs such as Family Swim, Toonie Teen Swim, Adapted Leisure Swim and swimming lessons for all ages.

Wascana Pool will also host late-night swim events on August 6 and 13, along with themed events such as Glow Night on August 20 and Movie Night on August 27. Event details are available in the Leisure Guide or at Regina.ca/WascanaPool.

Paid parking is available near Wascana Pool during daytime hours, with free parking available in the evenings and on weekends.
