Downtown Transit Stops

 

Regina Transit will continue to use the current downtown stops that Transit riders are familiar with until Fall 2026. This includes stops along 12th Avenue and Victoria Park.

 

The City has Transit shelters installed around Victoria Park to keep transit riders out of the wind, rain and snow.

Downtown Winter Transit Stops

Transit Detours

Wednesday, April 29, 2026 

Route 1 Westerra, Dieppe, GTH:

  • Buses will detour from 7 Ave N to Halifax St to 6 Ave N to Ottawa St to 7 Ave N and back to the regular route.

3 Sherwood Estates:

  • Buses will detour from northbound McIntosh St to 2 Ave N to Arthur St to Ellison Cres to Sherwood Dr and back to the regular route.

3 University:

  • Buses will detour from eastbound Sherwood Dr to Pasqua St to Yarnton Cres to Carey St to Sherwood Dr and back to the regular route.

4 Hillsdale:

  • Buses will detour from eastbound Sherwood Dr to Ellison Cres to Arthur St to 2 Ave N to McIntosh St and back to the regular route.

8 Eastview:

  • Buses will detour from northbound Pasqua St to Lakeview Ave to King St to McPhail Ave to Queen St to Hill Ave and back to the regular route. (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

8 Normandy Heights:

  • Buses will detour from westbound Hill Ave to Queen St to McPhail Ave to King St to Lakeview Ave to Pasqua St and back to the regular route. (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

30 University Express:

  • Buses will detour from eastbound Sherwood Dr to Pasqua St to Yarnton Cres to Carey St to Sherwood Dr and back to the regular route.

40 Albert North Express:

  • Buses will detour from 9 Ave N to Albert St to 6 Ave N to Argyle St N and back to the regular route. (Until Oct 31, 5 p.m.)

Upcoming Detours

Thursday, April 30, 2026 

College Ave Road Closure Detour (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.):

  • Route 2 and Special 9 buses will be detoured.
  • Bus Stops #0799 and #1055 will be closed.

Route 2 Wood Meadows:

  • Buses will detour from College Ave (eastbound) to Atkinson St to 17 Ave to Edgar St to College Ave and back to the regular route.

Route 2 Argyle Park:

  • Buses will detour from College Ave (westbound) to Edgar St to 15 Ave to Atkinson St to College Ave and back to the regular route.

Special 9 (AM):

  • Buses will detour from College Ave (westbound) to Edgar St to 15 Ave to Atkinson St to College Ave and back to the regular route.

Special 9 (PM):

  • Buses will detour from College Ave (eastbound) to Atkinson St to 17 Ave to Edgar St to College Ave and back to the regular route.
