Special Events Grants provide funding for organizations up to $5,000 for new or unique one-time
events that contribute to building community pride and encouraging community interaction and
spirit. Application Deadlines: As of 2026, there will only be four deadlines for the
Hosting/Special Event (Minor) Grant Programs. The deadlines for 2026 are January 29, April 30, July
30 and October 29, 2026. All deadlines are dependent on available funds. Please apply by the
deadline which is at least eight (8) weeks prior to the event. Applications can be submitted up to

receive alerts to move their cars by downloading the free Regina Sweep & Plow app or signing up
for custom notifications online at Regina.ca/SnowRoutes. Residents
can also follow the City’s Facebook and Instagram to find out when snow routes have been declared.
