Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre
Whether you are looking for swimming lessons, a leisure swim or
workout, there is something for everyone at the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre. The facility is
also home to Regina Public Library's Sunrise branch, spray pad, and accessible playground.
Temporary Shelter
A temporary shelter for people experiencing houselessness in Regina
opened January 30, 2023 in The Nest Health Centre, in the former downtown YMCA building. The
shelter was expanded from its initial capacity of 40 spaces to 55 spaces this spring.
Water Hydrant Cart Rental
Hydrant carts are available to rent by contractors who need a
temporary water supply where water is not otherwise available. Hydrant carts can be rented
beginning in spring, once temperatures become seasonal and collected no later than October 1,
weather permitting.
