Steps to Apply Step 1: Submit a Project Plan (this form) Commercial property owners must submit a
project plan outlining their plan to implement recycling and food and yard waste services prior to
September 30, 2027. Step 2: Receive Plan Approval Wait for approval from the City. Once approved,
you have 90 days to implement your recycling and food and yard waste program. Step 3: Submit for
Reimbursement After implementation, submit a funding application that includes: Proof of your
capital investment Receipts or invoices for approved purchases Monthly hauling invoice (if
applicable) Funding applications submitted after the 90-day period will not be reimbursed unless
you have asked for an extension in writing that has been approved by the City. Important Notes: If
delays occur due to factors outside your control, you may submit a written request for an
extension. Only one project proposal per business entity is permitted. (A business entity is
defined by its legal registration recorded with ISC, not by the number of operating locations or
business names. Multiple locations operating under the same ISC‑registered business entity are
considered one business entity and are eligible for one EAIP application. Business entities related
to any business entity already approved under the EAIP program are not eligible to apply for EAIP.)
The deadline to submit project proposals and funding applications is September 30, 2027. Programs

the responsibility of the building permit applicant to notify the City when construction is

charged the assumed consumption rate (See Schedule B of the Regina Water Bylaw No. 8942) if the
