The 2025 construction season also included the following investments: Improved 27 km of roads as part of the Residential Road and Street Infrastructure Renewal Programs. Upgraded 10.8 km of sidewalks. Removed 291 City-owned lead service connections. Replaced 5.4km of water mains. Relined 5.8 km of water mains and 960 metres of large diameter wastewater trunks. The City also introduced the online Construction Map, an interactive tool designed to help residents stay informed about ongoing and upcoming projects in their neighbourhoods. Updated daily, the map has become a valuable resource for tracking construction progress and planning travel routes. Since its launch in May 2025, the site has received over 13,000 views.
