How long does it take to get a Residential Short-Term Accommodation Licence? Applications are
processed within two to three business days. Will I need to purchase a residential business licence
in additional to the residential short-term accommodation licence? No, a person applying for a
residential short-term accommodation licence is not required to apply for a residential business
licence. What is the cost of a Residential Short-Term Accommodation Licence? The fee for a
principal residence unit is $100 annually The fee for a secondary property is $300 annually How
long is a Residential Short-Term Accommodation Licence valid for? Residential short-term
accommodation licences are valid for one year from date of purchase and must be renewed annually.
How do I renew my Residential Short-Term Accommodation Licence? Residential short-term
accommodation licence renewals are sent one month prior to expiry. Renewals may be paid online, by
mail, phone or in person at City Hall.

City is currently updating its ice allocation policy. The process to book arena ice and application
deadlines will be updated once the allocation policy is complete. Please check this page for
updates. Outdoor Skating Rinks Outdoor ice sites are available for public use on a first-come,
first-served basis unless previously reserved for community or private use. All outdoor rinks are
subject to weather conditions. Skaters are asked to use their judgment when using the outdoor rinks
and not to skate on them if the surface is wet. Ice Shelters will remain closed when there is an

except Hind Park, Maat Park and Williston Park. Lights: Button-activated lights are available at
rinks except Maat Park and Williston Park. Speed Skating Oval Public Hours: Open to the public 4-11
p.m. on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No public access on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Book an Outdoor Skating Rink Arena bookings for December to February are accepted from December
1-31 each year. Applications received after the deadlines will be processed on a first-come,
first-serve basis. Outdoor Arena Application Form Seasonal Off-Leash Areas Dog owners are reminded
that only eight outdoor rinks are designed as seasonal off-leash areas for dogs. These are open
from May 1 to September 30 each year (unless otherwise noted on the Dog Parks & Off-Leash Areas
