dogs (spayed/neutered) a puppy (under 6 months of age) a show dog (copy of entry form & receipt
from dog show's secretary) I’ve lost my dog’s licence tag. How can I get a replacement? For the
cost of $5, you can purchase a replacement licence tag at City Hall (2476 Victoria Avenue) or the
Regina Humane Society (New Location: 4900 Parliament Avenue). Things to consider before registering
How old does my dog have to be to take part? Dogs must be at least four months old. Puppies that
are younger than four months are likely not fully vaccinated. Due to their very young age and
vaccination status, it is more likely that they get sick, which is why we ask those puppies not to
participate. What vaccinations does my dog require? Dogs are required to be up to date on their
core booster vaccinations (DHPP or DA2PP) and their Rabies vaccine. The Bordetella vaccine is
recommended but not required. What are core booster vaccinations? Core vaccines are a combination
vaccine that is administered yearly. The vaccine includes: Distemper, Hepatitis, Adenovirus,
Parvovirus and Parainfluenza. If you give your dog a yearly booster vaccine, your dog should be
covered. What is the Bordetella vaccine? Bordetella is a vaccine for Kennel Cough, which although
not required, is recommended when a dog spends time in contact with other dogs. Important
information for the day of the swim What happens if it rains? This is a rain-or-shine event. What
happens if there is thunder and lightning? In the event of thunder and lightning, all dogs will
need to exit the pool and wait until the storm passes. This is for everyone’s safety. Lifeguards
will announce when it is safe for dogs to go back into the water. Will humans be able to swim with
the dogs? No. Only dogs are allowed to swim at this event. Can my child attend the dog swim with
me? Yes. This is a family event so children can be there to observe the dog swim. Please note that
children 12 and under must be supervised by an adult. Does my dog need to wear his/her collar and
licence tag on the day of the swim? Yes. Will a lifeguard be on duty? Lifeguards will be on duty
but will only be there in the event that a person falls into the pool and requires assistance. I’m
not sure if my dog can swim well. Will there be dog life jackets there? Dog life jackets are not
provided; please bring one if you are unsure of your dog’s swimming abilities. What will happen in
the event that a dog is in distress? Animal Control Officers will be present and will be able to
provide support in the event of an emergency. Will there be available drinking water on site? Yes.
There is a water fountain at Regent Pool located just outside the women's washroom. Please be sure
to bring your dog’s own water dish. What will happen if my dog drinks the chlorinated water in the
pool? The water in the pool is potable. The chlorination system will be turned off the day before
the dog swim and there is no concern with dogs drinking some of the water in the pool. After the
dog swim I registered for the dog swim, but we are unable to attend. Can I get a refund? This event
is non-refundable. Should you withdraw from the event, the fee you paid will be applied as a credit
on your account which you can use elsewhere for recreation services. Will the pool be cleaned once
the event is over? Yes. The pool will be thoroughly cleaned after the event and then again before
the pool is used next year. ...

artist based in Oskana kâ-asastêki (Regina, Saskatchewan; Treaty 4 territory), was selected as the
City’s first ever Indigenous Artist in Residence. During her residency, Audie explored the theme of
‘Urban Indigeneity’. Her artwork proposal involved a large-scale beaded wall hanging done through
the process of by hand bead weaving. Murray also supported local youth through a youth residency
where they learned beadwork and worked alongside local cultural leaders. Murray’s art practice is
informed by themes of contemporary culture, embodied experiences and lived dualities. These modes
of working assist with the recentering of our collective connection to the body, ancestral
knowledge systems, space and time. Murray holds a visual arts diploma from Camosun College, a
Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Regina, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University
of Calgary. She has exhibited widely, including at the Independent Art Fair, NYC; The Vancouver Art
Gallery; Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow; and the Anchorage Museum. Murray is represented by
Fazakas Gallery, located on Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, Səl̓ílwətaʔ, and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm territory (Vancouver,
