City of Regina Launches Reporting Dashboard
The City of Regina has launched its first ever public Service Dashboard, giving residents a transparent view into how the City is performing and delivering on its services.
“The Service Dashboard marks an important step in how we share information with residents about service delivery, from strong results to areas for improvement,” said Jim Nicol, Interim City Manager. “The Dashboard will evolve over time alongside our efforts to better meet the needs of residents.”
Through the dashboard, the City will track its performance across key metrics, from the number and speed of issued building permits to transit timeliness, parks maintenance, waste pickup and water management. The key performance indicators and service statistics show how well the City is performing by measuring whether expected standards such as timeliness, reliability or safety are being met. Service statistics are counts or totals that describe activity levels but do not necessarily measure performance.
The City has long shared performance data through multiple reporting sources, such as Annual Reports, updated master plans and more. By introducing the new Service Dashboard, the City brings these insights together in one centralized location, making it easier for residents to find, understand and compare results.
Additional services and measures may be added as more data becomes available. To view the Dashboard, visit Regina.ca/ServiceDashboard.
