Community Gardens
Community gardens enhance the overall well-being of communities in Regina. The City values existing community gardens and supports the creation of new ones, as they provide residents who may not have access to land the opportunity to grow fresh, healthy food.
Community gardens throughout Regina are operated by Community Associations, Zone Boards, and Grow Regina. Learn how to start a community garden or find the garden nearest you on the map below.
Edible Landscapes
The City plants fruiting trees and shrubs throughout our parks and open space. We provide this fruit-bearing vegetation for members of the community to harvest and enjoy. Find your favourite in a park below.

City Flowers
Each year, the City maintains 400 flower pots and 48 flower beds throughout Regina. Between the beds and pots, more than 40,000 plants are planted annually.
We plant mostly petunias, lilies and marigolds, but we do plant some interesting flowers like Mexican sunflowers and Mystic Illusion Dahlias in Central Park.

Regina Floral Conservatory
Regina is also home to the Regina Floral Conservatory which is operated and maintained by volunteers of the Regina Garden Associates in partnership with the City of Regina. Visit the Regina Floral Conservatory to learn more about Regina’s premiere indoor green space.
