Playground Grant Program provides funding to help replace aging playgrounds or install new ones that meet the City’s Accessibility Playground Design Standards. Organizations may apply for up to 30 per cent of a project’s total budget, to a maximum of $80,000. The City of Regina has allocated $160,000 to the program for 2026. Successful applicants must complete construction and open the playground to the public by June 1, 2028. Applications will be accepted until April 9, 2026, at 4 p.m. Eligible applicants must be registered non-profit organizations incorporated for at least one year and in good standing with the City of Regina. Organizations must also demonstrate sound financial management and confirm that at least 40 per cent of total project funding is in place at the time of application. ...
