Special Events Grants provide funding for organizations up to $5,000 for new or unique one-time
events that contribute to building community pride and encouraging community interaction and
spirit. Application Deadlines: See application form for deadlines. All deadlines are dependent on
available funds. Please apply by the deadline which is at least six weeks prior to the event. The
City commits to providing a response within four weeks of each of the deadline dates. Applications

open. To help residents access these businesses, walkways along the north side of Dewdney Avenue
and free parking in the Yards Neighbourhood site will be available throughout the 2025 construction
