Note that these third-party online payment service companies charge you a transaction fee for this service. The City of Regina does not receive any of the transaction fees when this method of payment is used. The City does not recommend any particular service provider. Search online to find one that best suits your needs. A few examples of these third-party online payment service providers include Plastiq and Paysimply. If you choose to pay your property taxes using a third-party online payment service provider, it is up to you to be fully aware of it’s policy on the effective date of payments. In some cases, it may take several business days for the transaction to reach the City. You are responsible for making sure your payment is received by the due date. If your payment arrives past the due date, you will be subject to late payment penalties.
