Spring Street Sweeping
The Spring Sweep program runs city-wide and helps clean up winter debris, preserve streets and prevent clogged storm drains and street flooding. The 2026 Spring Sweep will run from March 30, 2026 to early June, weather permitting.
Prepare for your Sweep Day
Take the following steps to prepare for your sweep day.
1. Learn when your street will be swept:
- Sign up for Sweep Alerts below.
- Download the Regina Sweep and Plow app below.
- Watch for No Parking signs.
- Enter your address below to find out when your street will be swept.
2. On your sweep day:
- Move your vehicle off the street. This helps us clean the curbs. Please note that vehicles parked on the road during a sweep day may be ticketed and towed. Crews will not return if they have to go around vehicles.
- Close your windows and walk on alternative sidewalks because sweepers cause dusty conditions and reduce visibility.
3. If you see dust and sweeping equipment, give them lots of room, slow down and be safe.
- Check your sweep day on the app regularly for any changes due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
