Part 7 of the Regina Noise Bylaw No: 6980
Unless a permit is first obtained, no person shall:
- Carry on construction of any type of structure which involves hammering, sawing or the use of any mechanical tools or equipment capable of creating a sound which may be heard beyond the boundaries of the site on which the activity is being carried, or
- Operate or allow to be operated a riveting machine, concrete mixer, gravel crusher, a steam shovel, trenching machine, drag line, air or steam compressor, jack-hammer or pneumatic drill, tractor or bull-dozer or any other tool, device or machine of a noisy nature, so as to create a noise, confusion or disturbance to be heard in a residential building between the hours of ten o'clock in the evening (10 p.m.) and seven o'clock (7 a.m.) in the morning.
