Organizational Structure

The City of Regina is governed by a mayor and ten city councillors. City Council appoints a city manager who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the municipal government.

Organizational Structure

The City Manager oversees the Office of the City Clerk, Office of the City Solicitor and the Executive Leadership Team.

Executive Leadership Team (ELT)

The City Manager may delegate decision-making authority to the Executive Leadership Team. ELT members are:

  • Jim Nicol, Acting City Manager
  • Deborah Bryden, Deputy City Manager, City Planning & Community Development
  • Kurtis Doney, Deputy City Manager, City Operations
  • Jennifer Johnson, Deputy City Manager, Communications, Service Regina & Tourism
  • Ted Schisler, Deputy City Manager, Corporate Services
  • Daren Anderson, Deputy City Manager, Chief Financial Officer

The Executive Leadership Team makes decisions and recommendations to Council based on alignment with the organization’s mission: "We are dedicated to building a strong community by providing reliable, sustainable services.''
