Underground Line Locates

Planning a home improvement job, planting a tree or installing a fence or deck? Request a locate for underground City-owned utilities before you dig.

Sask 1st Call:
Remember to contact Sask 1st Call to locate other utilities such as underground power, gas and telephone lines not maintained by the City of Regina. You may also need to contact other utilities who are not members of Sask 1st Call, such as Access Communications.

Locates are painted markings or flags used to identify the position of underground utility lines so you can stay clear of them.

If you plan to dig on your property for any reason, request a line locate at least three business days before you begin your project or construction.

Concerns, issues or troubles with locates for City-owned infrastructure?

If contractors experience issues with locates, contact the number provided on the locate slip or email locates@regina.ca. Contractors can also contact the City by calling 306-777-7000.
