    Recreate YQR

    The City of Regina is excited to offer the Recreate YQR after school program. Recreate YQR is an inclusive, free, after school registered program for kids grade K-8. Kids can play, learn and keep active in an environment that develops and fosters creativity and positive self-image.

    To comply with public health requirements and ensure safety for all participants, their families, and City staff, modifications have been made to the program, including:

    • enhanced cleaning and sanitizing measures;
    • introduction of games and activities that incorporate social distancing protocols and minimize contact between participants and with staff;
    • maximum of 15 participants per site; and
    • designated zones for drop-off and pick-up.

    Registration

    While typically a drop-in program, to adapt to current public health guidelines related to COVID-19, pre-registration is now required. Once registered, participants may attend Monday to Friday until the end of the session.

    Register Online or call the City of Regina PlayLine at 306-777-PLAY (7529). For help registering online, follow these instructions.

    After registering, please complete a Waiver and a Participant Information Form with Photo Release and return it to the program location on the first day your child(ren) attends Recreate YQR. The Participant Information Form does not act as registration, you must register online or through the PlayLine to be formally registered.
