event, church gathering, summer fair, beer garden or similar type of event.

Accessibility Advisory Committee
Adapted recreation refers to recreation activities or programs that have been changed or designed
specifically to be more accessible to people with disabilities. This plan identifies barriers to
recreation, and an action plan for preventing and addressing those barriers in order to make City
recreation and leisure opportunities more accessible. It was developed in 2021 through extensive
