City Councillors

City Council acts like a board of directors, setting policy, establishing budgets and making major decisions. They also appoint a city manager who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the municipal government.

The 2024-2028 Regina City Council was elected on November 13, 2024, and sworn into office on November 18, 2024.

Mayor Chad Bachynski

Chad is a dedicated community member with a strong background in managing large-scale projects. As a committed husband, father of two and long-time community member, Chad is deeply invested in Regina's future. With a degree in mechanical engineering, Chad has experience working in both the private sector and with crown corporations, bringing a diverse perspective to problem-solving and innovation. He has also led and contributed to numerous volunteer organizations, including the North Central Community Association and several school councils. Chad is deeply committed to making a positive impact in his community.

Councillor Dan Rashovich

Ward 1

Dan is passionate about his community and has always given back through volunteering. He has done this with numerous charities and fundraisers within the city and Province. Dan has chaired 'Believe in The Gold' for the last 7 years, a charitable foundation raising awareness about childhood cancer.

Councillor George Tsiklis

Ward 2

George Tsiklis brings a wealth of entrepreneurship and financial services experience from across Canada to his role as Ward 2 Councillor in Regina.

Committed to being a useful servant leader, he focuses on boosting jobs, prosperity, and quality of life for residents in the Greater Regina Area through practical, resident-centered solutions - embodying the “Better as One” ethos where diverse voices unite for shared success.

A strong believer in open dialogue, George invites everyone to connect and share ideas. Follow him on his social media accounts for updates, reminders, and ways to get involved.

Councillor David Froh

Ward 3

David is a community leader with senior economic and community development experience having served as Vice President for Economic Development Regina, Director of Trade Development for the Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership, and Vice President of the Regina Food Bank. David has an extensive track record of getting things done for our community through collaboration, creativity, and thinking big. In addition to serving on Council, David works as a management consultant assisting non-profits and business optimize their impact.

Ward 4

Mark was born and raised in Regina. He has been a homeowner in Ward 4 for over 30 years and a promoter of the City of Regina for his entire life.

Councillor Victoria Flores

Ward 6

Victoria Flores is proud to represent Ward 6 on Regina City Council. Originally from Bolivia, she moved to Canada as a teenager and has called Regina home ever since. Victoria’s deep connection to the city has been shaped by her work in the non-profit sector, her volunteer experiences, and her dedication to creating safe, inclusive, and thriving neighbourhoods. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology and a certificate in Public Relations from the University of Regina.

Councillor Shobna Radons

Ward 7

Shobna believes that community matters; people matter and making our community better for all where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Improving the lives of all Regina residents should always be our priority. Her work involved working with labour for many years driving change that would benefit not only workers but also society.

Councillor Shanon Zachidniak

Ward 8

Shanon is a passionate community builder who has spent the past decade focused on improving the lives of Regina residents. Her work has included management roles with several community organizations, including: Wascana Solar Co-operative, REACH, and the Regina Farmers’ Market. She has a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor’s in Journalism. Shanon is also a published writer and former ESL teacher.

Councillor Jason Mancinelli

Ward 9

Councillor Mancinelli is co-owner of Driven Automotive and has been a journeyman technician for more than 25 years. Recently, he was named the 2016 Canadian Technician of the Year by a group of his peers through Canadian Auto Repair & Service Magazine.

Councillor Clark Bezo

Ward 10

Clark Bezo is a Navy veteran, professional engineer, and small business owner. With a strong foundation in discipline and leadership from his military service, Clark brings technical expertise and problem-solving skills to projects and council. His engineering background, entrepreneurial drive and pragmatic approach reflect a deep commitment to excellence, innovation, and community impact.
