Connect with the Mayor
Request Mayor Masters attend your event, provide written greetings or make a proclamation.
Attend an Event
You can invite Mayor Masters to attend your organization’s event, or bring greetings to your next meeting. As the Mayor's schedule is busy and booked well in advance, please provide as much notice as possible, preferably two months in advance. Attendance for any event held on a Wednesday will be limited due to City Council and Committee weekly meetings.
Mayor Masters can provide written greetings for your organization such as messages of welcome or letters of support. For written greetings from the Mayor, please allow 10 to 14 days advance notice.
Congratulatory birthday or anniversary messages are coordinated through the Lieutenant Governor’s Office. Please refer to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor for specific information regarding which birthdays and anniversaries qualify and what verification is required. Please note that three months notice is required for congratulatory, birthday or anniversary greetings. While we are pleased to accept requests with less than three months notice, we cannot guarantee messages will be provided by the celebration date.
Proclamations are a ceremonial document, approved and signed by the Mayor to recognize a person, event or organization for a specific day, week or month. Proclamations request must be submitted at least one month prior to the proposed date for the proclamation.
All requests are tracked, recorded and responded to accordingly.
