Councillor Victoria Flores is sitting for her first term as a member of Regina City Council, representing the residents of Ward 6.
Biography
Victoria Flores is proud to represent Ward 6 on Regina City Council. Originally from Bolivia, she moved to Canada as a teenager and has called Regina home ever since. Victoria’s deep connection to the city has been shaped by her work in the non-profit sector, her volunteer experiences, and her dedication to creating safe, inclusive, and thriving neighbourhoods. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology and a certificate in Public Relations from the University of Regina.
With over a decade of experience in community leadership, Victoria has worked with organizations like the Regina Food Bank and the Regina Open Door Society, where she currently serves as Communications and Marketing Manager. In this role, she supports initiatives that foster a welcoming and inclusive community.
In addition to her professional work, Victoria has a history of volunteer involvement, including serving as chair of the Heritage Community Association and as an after-hours advocate with the Regina Sexual Assault Hotline. She remains an active member of the Regina Ski Club board and enjoys supporting community initiatives that aim to uplift and support Regina's most vulnerable residents, contributing her time and skills to projects as opportunities arise.
Victoria believes in the power of community and grassroots advocacy. Her priorities as a councillor include improving infrastructure, supporting small businesses, promoting food security, and creating opportunities for youth engagement. She is committed to making decisions guided by transparency, fairness, and input from the residents of Ward 6.
When she’s not at City Hall, Victoria enjoys biking, gardening, staying active through different sports, and spending time with her dog, Monty. She is dedicated to building a Regina where every resident feels heard, valued, and proud to call this city home.
