Attend an Event

You can invite Mayor Bachynski to attend your organization’s event or bring greetings to your next meeting. Attendance for any event held on a Wednesday will be limited due to City Council and Committee weekly meetings.

Grounds for Great Conversation

Coffee Visits with the Mayor

Mayor Bachynski is excited to meet with residents and discuss ideas, issues or opportunities within the city of Regina as he values residents’ thoughts, opinions and concerns.

Meetings will take place once a month and will be 20 minutes in length. To request a meeting, residents can fill out the form below with their contact information and relevant details to help prepare for the visit.  Once the form is submitted, the Mayor’s Office will contact you to schedule a meeting at the next available time.

To help keep these visits efficient and safe, please:

  • Bring a piece of photo ID.
  • Do not bring any large bags. Any large bags brought will be left at the front desk. Small personal bags (ex. purse) are permitted but will be subject to a security check.
  • Limit your group to no more than three people and include the names of everyone attending when completing the form.

You will receive a reminder email the week leading up to your visit. If you are no longer able to make your time, please let us know as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience as we establish this new process for visits with the Mayor. We understand that some concerns may be time-sensitive and will do our best to schedule meetings as soon as possible.

Written Greetings

Mayor Bachynski can provide written greetings for your organization such as messages of welcome or letters of support. For written greetings from the Mayor, please allow 10 to 14 days advance notice.

Congratulatory Messages

Congratulatory birthday or anniversary messages are coordinated through the Lieutenant Governor’s Office. Please refer to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor for specific information regarding which birthdays and anniversaries qualify and what verification is required. Please note that three months notice is required for congratulatory, birthday or anniversary greetings. While we are pleased to accept requests with less than three months notice, we cannot guarantee messages will be provided by the celebration date.

Proclamations

Proclamations are a ceremonial document, approved and signed by the Mayor to recognize a person, event or organization for a specific day, week or month. Proclamations request must be submitted at least one month prior to the proposed date for the proclamation.

If you would like to request a proclamation, please read the Proclamation Request Requirements before completing the Proclamation Request Form.

All requests are tracked, recorded and responded to accordingly.
